How LadyBossBlogger Helped Me Land My First Influencer Contract
A few weeks ago I shared that I had decided to invest in the How To Make Money as an Influencer Course by the LadyBossBlogger team. Now I have completed the course I wanted to give you an honest review.
I absolutely loved the course. It was clear to navigate, read and understand. It was so full of really important information that I couldn't do it all in one go!
Luckily with this course, I have unlimited access to this amazing resource and I will definitely be going back over a few things and plan to implement them all.
Game-changing Takeaways
Time Management: the importance of planning
Whilst doing the course, life for me and my family has changed again with the slight lifting of lock down meaning two of my boys are back at school so I am back on the school run with them and have my other son still homeschooling. This does not deter from my work and I am fitting it in to my busy life as much as I can.
Using the planning tools that Elaine Rau taught me in the course, I am managing to keep on top of everything as well as the many new collaboration opportunities that have resulted from implementing aspects of the course!
The importance of planning and organization is paramount to any business and the course gives you the tools to manage this which was a great relief for me.
Soon it will be the summer holidays so that's a whole other situation but using the tools I have learned I am already scheduling in how to multi task and continue making a success of my Instagram business and blog.
A New Mindset: Mixing Business and Pleasure
Talking of my Instagram account as a business is a new concept that has developed from this course. I now see it as my business, my brand and my opportunity.
I spend a lot of time on it because I love it and I still absolutely love posting and seeing all the fashion ideas and lifestyle hacks everyday. I am also now seeing it as an opportunity to make money as well as make a wider set of friends with the fabulous women I interact with everyday.
Organic Growth of Followers
Since doing the course and making some of the recommended changes I have seen my followers grow at an amazing rate. I think part of this is to do with how my account is presented.
Using what I have learned I have been able to ensure that my actual Instagram page is presented in a better, more aesthetic way with a clear and focused Bio. I have changed the way I post as well as the hashtags I am using to get my posts seen by more people which has worked brilliantly so far.
This is where the course is great. It actually gives you tips to save time and be more effective.
My First Contract
I have recently signed a three month contract with a brand new app that is being launched soon so I am really excited about this. I have also been given the tools to feel more confident dealing with companies and ensuring that the collaborations I choose to do are relevant to me and my brand.
