Lockdown charity T-shirts: my Top 6

Show your thanks: wear the t-shirt!

May 13, 2020

It was International Nurses Day yesterday and what better way to give your support for all our amazing nurses and all medical staff at this extremely challenging time than to go ahead and buy one of these fabulous charity t-shirts.

There are so many to choose from, all are gorgeous and made even better because they donate all the proceeds, or an amount of money to charities helping us get through this pandemic. Here is a selection of some of my favorites and links to go ahead and buy one; simply click on the t-shirt images. I've also included links to the charities in case you feel you'd like to make a donation or find out more.

All made from 100% cotton, some 100% recycled and some organic; money from each sale is being given directly to charities supporting NHS staff, volunteers and those affected by Covid 19.

I wear my charity t-shirt all the time; on a Thursday when we clap for carers, when I’m home schooling or when I’m doing my daily exercise.

Storms don’t last forever and the symbol of the rainbow has been prevalent throughout this pandemic as a symbol of hope. This is why the bright cheerful rainbow arching over the message Thank You on the Kindred t-shirt really stood out to me.

These t-shirts are made from organic cotton. All proceeds from the sale of this t-shirt go directly to NHS Charities Together if you purchase it in the UK, and go to Americares if you buy it in the USA. You can wear these with pride with your children as they can get identical t-shirts which means even more money to such deserving causes.

‘Be Like Captain Tom’. A t-shirt dedicated to the Covid crisis hero Captain Tom Moore, a war veteran centenarian who single handedly raised over £32 million for NHS Charities Together, is my favourite of the #helpushelpthem collection that Rubbish London have put together to donate money to the NHS via their partner @helpthemhelpus_

Help Them Help Us, also known as HEROES is a charity founded by NHS workers, for NHS workers to support the welfare and wellbeing of those fighting to keep us healthy and safe during the Covid 19 crisis and beyond.

All garments from this brand new company are made using 100% recycled materials; they don’t even pay themselves so that they can donate more to their chosen Covid 19 charity Help Them Help Us!

Adult t-shirt: £30

All profits from the sale of these t-shirts go to Help Them Help Us

‘Stronger Together’ is a simple and strong message that we stand in unity against this virus. We are all certainly stronger in all areas of life when we work together. I love this message and my favourite design is the one that features the kissing leopards. They are available in a variety of colours that will go with any outfit.
